Updates and town hall meeting

Dear IPW2 Participant,

We have extended the data submission deadline to April 18, 2023 and are inviting you to a Town Hall Meeting on April 4, 2023.  Please read the details below:

• DEADLINE EXTENDED: Participants may now submit processed results by April 18, 2023.  Results submitted after this date may or may not be included in the workshop comparison, depending upon the individual circumstances.

• TOWN HALL MEETING: You are invited to join the Town Hall meeting planned for April 4, 2023 at 11:00 am Eastern Daylight Time (US and Canada, UTC -04:00).  Here is the Agenda:

• TEST CASES and EXPERIMENTAL DATA: The test case description document was updated on March 27 with additional information.  A drop size distribution for the RG-15 low speed icing cases is now available.  Also included in this update is additional information regarding modeling of the ceiling gap for the CRM65 hybrid model cases.

• PARTICIPANT SURVEY:  If you have not yet completed our survey please do this now.  This is important information that is used to determine the numbers of cases being run by all participants and which participants will need access to a Tecplot license.  The survey results will help us to plan an agenda for the workshop.

• WORKSHOP REGISTRATION:  There is no separate registration for the workshop this year.  SAE is including the workshop as a part of the International Icing Conference registration.  The in-person only workshop is scheduled for June 23, 2023.  (www.sae.org/icing)
